Having trouble getting your kids to eat broccoli? Try insects, algae and food waste!
Parents might have a hard time getting children to eat their veggies, but here’s a whole other challenge: to get kids (and their parents!) interested the sustainable food of the future.
To promote this year’s Win Win Award (the world’s leading sustainability award) we launched ”Play Food from the Future”. A set of 3D-printed toys developed to get kids more familiar with the sustainable food of tomorrow. On the menu: Algae Balls, Bug Mac, Power Powder, The Mighty Bean and Tasty Waste. Bon appétit!
The toys are developed together with scientist Ingrid Strid at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Anyone with access to a 3D-printer can download and print the toys for free at playfoodfromthefuture.com.
